Who we are

Eco Volt Solutions designs and installs solar panels, battery storage, air source heat pumps, insulation and EV chargers. We are responsible for the personal information you give us through this website. If you have any questions about it, email us at hello@ecovoltsolutions.co.uk.

What we collect

When you ask for a quote, we collect:

• your name, phone number, email address and postcode;
• what you're interested in, and the details you choose about your home: its type, whether you own it, your rough energy bill and when you'd like the work done;
• anything you write in the message box;
• if you used the savings estimator, the bill and upgrades you picked;
• the date and time you sent your request, the page you sent it from, and a scrambled form of your internet address that helps us block spam.

This website doesn't use cookies, advertising trackers or analytics.

Why we use it

We use your details to contact you about your enquiry, arrange your free survey and give you a quote. We do this because you asked us to, as steps before any contract, and because you agreed to us contacting you about your enquiry. We don't sell your details, and we don't use them to send you marketing.

Who we share it with

Your details stay with Eco Volt Solutions, apart from the companies that host this website and store enquiries for us (Cloudflare). If you go ahead with an installation, we may need to share some details with your electricity network operator, with MCS to register your installation, and with Ofgem if you apply for a grant such as the Boiler Upgrade Scheme. We'll tell you before we do. We'll also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry. If you don't go ahead, we delete them within 12 months. If you become a customer, we keep the records we need for your installation, its guarantee and the law.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your agreement to us contacting you. Email hello@ecovoltsolutions.co.uk and we'll reply within a month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
